Health is a state of complete physical , mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity in the human body.

Good Health means how one can handle stress and can live a longer mere active life .

According to WHO health is 

“A resource for everyday life , not the objective of living . Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources as well as physical capacities”

This means health is a resource to support an individual’s function in wider society rather than end in itself .

Type of Health

Health are of many times but basically health is of two types 

1- Mental Health 

2- Physical Health 

A- Mental Health

According to the U.S. Department Health & Human Service , Mental Health refers to a person’s emotional , social and psychological well-being . Mental Health is also important as physical health as a part of a full ,active lifestyle 

Mental illness is categorized by doctors through CT Scans and genetic Tests

Good Mental Health also depends on how people enjoy their life . If a person is far from anxiety or depression that doesn’t mean he/she is mentally fit .

Mental Health  depends on person’s ability to –

a- Enjoy Life

b- Bounce back after difficult experiences and adapt to diversity 

c- Balance different elements of life such as family , finances , 

d- Feel safe and secure 

e-Achieve their full potential  

B- Physical Health

Physical Health is also most important for a person . If a person is not physically fit then how can he be mentally fit . Physical Health is utmost important . Physically fit means a person has to be fit from the inner body . Keep away from diseases . Physical health can be achieved with the help of regular exercise and by taking a balanced diet . 

Looking after physical health and well being also involves reducing the risk of an injury or health issues such as –

a- Minimizing hazards in the workplace

b- Practicing effective hygiene 

c- Avoiding the use of tobacco , alcohol or illegal drugs 

d- Taking the recommended vaccines for a specific condition or country when travelling 

According to a 2008 Study Mental health and physical health both are connected with each other . For example – If a person is not physically fit then that person will not be able to complete work on time which will cause depression or any other mental illness such as stress .

A famous idiom on health  is there – Health is wealth 

All types of health, whether mental or physical, are interconnected with each other so you should maintain balance between them .
